Join us at Reason Group's office in Canberra to warmly welcome our new CEO, Damian Kassabgi, who officially started at Tech Council of Australia in June this year.

Damian joins the TCA having previously held senior leadership roles at Afterpay, Uber and Google. He also brings extensive experience from the public sector, having held leadership roles in the offices of two Prime Ministers: Kevin Rudd and Julia Gillard.

At the event Damian will be joined in conversation by William Scheer, CEO at Reason Group and Danielle Rajendram, Associate Director of the Advisory and Insights team at Asialink Business, to explore "How international economic relationships can build and diversify Australia's tech hubs?"

Points of discussion:

  • Canberra has existing strengths in tech and significant opportunity to grow
  • How can we leverage international economic relationships to grow Canberra as a tech hub in Australia?
  • What are our strengths in a global context? Where can we find mutually beneficial partnerships across the region?
