Australia is becoming a competitive place to start a tech company but remains a challenging place to scale. This session will be an opportunity to share experiences and lessons learnt regarding key barriers to scaling from Australia. We will also seek to understand the constraints on greater domestic investment in scaleups, particularly those working in deep tech.

Through this discussion we will aim to reach a shared understanding of the challenges for companies and investors in this space to inform policy and advocacy work that supports our call for a national tech investment target. Attendees include representatives from VCs, super funds and the tech sector.
