This is a discussion with Assistant Minister Andrew Leigh on the Government's proposed reforms to non-compete clauses in employment contracts.

The Government recently announced its plans to ban non-compete clauses in respect of workers earning less than the high-income threshold in the Fair Work Act ($175,000). While the Government intends to undertake detailed consultation at a later stage, this session will provide an opportunity to ask questions and provide any initial feedback on the proposed reforms.
