TCA Subcommunity - Talent, Skills & Migration Meeting

This is the regular monthly meeting for the TCA's Talent, Skills and Migration Subcommunity.

The goal of the The Talent, Skills and Migration Subcommunity, along with the co-chairs Audrey Lobo-Pulo (LinkedIn) and David Masters (Atlassian), is to cultivate a high-quality tech workforce pipeline that will deepen opportunities for Australia to be a leading digital economy.

Our 2024 policy/advocacy priorities and other key focus areas for this subcommunity include:

• AI workforce plan
• Migration reform implementation
• Digital apprenticeships
• Diversity in tech initiatives
• IR gig economy reforms
• Virtual work experience delivery
• Govt education/skills reforms, including JSA
• State-based skills/training reforms
• Next steps on Employee Share Schemes
• Industry training & credentials integration / recognition

Each meeting will have a separate agenda. This will be shared closer to the meeting.
